About MATATO
Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators, MATATO, established in 2006, by a group of visionaries to elevate the Maldivian tourism industry through unity, empowerment and cooperation, has been a strong partner in developing tourism in the Maldives.
Representing the largest industry in the Maldives, MATATO is an internationally recognised association and represented in Pacific Asia Travel Association, PATA, the 3rd biggest travel association internationally as their PATA Chapter in Maldives.
About FRAME
Frame by MATATO is an annual fine art competition and art exhibition launched by MATATO, with different themes annually. The art exhibition will be held at the National Art Gallery Maldives and endorsed by the Government and various associations. Curation and judging will be undertaken by professionals in the industry and international experts.
The goal of this initiative is to foster interest in the creative community for the Maldives tourism and showcase brilliant artistry of the Maldivians to the tourists and the public.
